那些情况下 no matter wh-不能替换wh-ever：
最简单的方法，有　Ｗｈａｔｅｖｅｒ　绝对不选Ｎｏ　ｍａｔｔｅｒ　ｗｈａｔ　。
Ｎｏ　ｍａｔｔｅｒ　ｗｈａｔ只是用来引导让步状语从句的。
如No matter what = whatever you say, i will not believe you.
但是，whatever则有多种用法。
You can eat whatever you want。就没有让步的成分，所以只能用Whatever.

Whatever
“无论什么，不管什么”作形容词是what 的强调形式，在句中做宾语。
Whatever work you do, do it carefully.
Take whatever measures you consider best.

<1>what ever 分开时，表示一种惊讶，有时还带有钦佩、生气等其他感情。这时 whatever=what on earth=what in the world
whatever/ on earth/ in the world do you mean?

<2>whatever 还可以作代词，相当于no matter what. 例如：
The farmers have decided to build a power station, whatever the difficulties may be
Whatever happens, we won’t feel disappointed.

<3> 以whatever 引导的名词性从句在句中可以用作：
a. 主语
Whatever we see must be noted down.
Whatever is to be done must be done well.
b. 宾语（包括动词宾语及介词宾语）
I’ll show you whatever you want to see.
We must constantly rid ourselves of whatever is wrong.
You can write about whatever topic you like.
c. 宾语补足语
We’ll make him whatever he is fit for.
I’ll call the baby whatever name you like.
d. whatever 也可以用以引导表示让步的状语从句，相当于 no matter what
Whatever you do, do it well.
Whatever may happen, we are prepared for it.
Whatever excuses he may make, we do not believe him.
