什麼是Gmail for your domain？
Gmail for your domain是Gmail提供的郵件代管服務，Gmail是Google的網頁郵件。
為何選擇Gmail for your domain？
選擇使用Gmail郵件代管服務，不需要任何的軟體或者是硬體就能提供屬於你自己的電子郵件服務。因為使用你自己的網域名稱，所以更顯得的專業，不會幫任何一家公司打廣告。
Gmail for your domain提供哪些服務項目？
選擇使用Gmail for your domain就能夠能夠使用下面的服務。
Gmail（郵件服務）：2GB空間（2048MB），又大又快，HDD的費用不花你半毛，流量跟頻寬也都是Gmail提供。
Google Talk（Google即時通）：Google推出的即時通，能夠讓你像使用MSN Messenger或Yahoo Mesenger一樣，而且還可以把對話記錄自動存在信箱中。
Google Calendar（Google行事曆）：即將推出。
Control Panel（管理員控制台）：這個功能只有管理員才有，可以輕鬆的換掉LOGO，設定服務名稱，新增/暫停/刪除使用者。
Gmail for your domain申請方式
必須要先有一個googlel帳號，建議用gmail帳號更好。如果沒有可以到gmail版跟版友要一個gmail邀請函。然後就可以開始下面的申請步驟。
開啟申請頁面：https://www.google.com/hosted/
點選I'm Interested。
填入google帳號並且登入。
冗長的表格要填，花點耐心吧。下面資料一律以英文數字填寫，不要再問我為什麼寫中文不可以這種鳥問題。如果想比較早拿到通知，也請『完全』依照下面的建議方式申請。
Organization name（組織名稱）：組織或公司名稱，打個比較正式的吧。
Type（組織類型）：請選Education 。實驗都從教育機構開始？
Location （組織國別）：請選United States
All email users are in the United States （所有的使用者均在US）：請勾選。
Website （組織網站）：輸入你的網站連結，也許審核時會看看？
Email domain （要使用的網域名稱）：這個一定不能打錯，不然申請下來不能用也不能改。
Number of accounts needed （需要的帳號數量）：我填10000也給了，你可以填多一點讓他們審核時覺得有商機。
Does your organization currently provide email accounts? （目前已經有郵件服務了？）：選Yes。
If so, what does your organization use for email? （如果是，用哪一家的郵件服務？）：填 MS Live Custom Domain，讓 Google 覺得可以藉機拉攏競爭對手的客戶！
Job title （你的職稱）：我通常都寫web admin。
Phone number (你的電話）：我通常寫隔壁老王的電話。
How are you involved in decisions about email for your organization? （組織的郵件服務決定是否很複雜？）：選第一個，I determine which email solution my organization uses 。
Why do you want Gmail for your domain?（為何選擇使用Gmail for your domain？）：我都寫I'd sure like to use Gmail 。
Can we ask you for feedback in the future?（以後願意作問題回報嗎？）：請勾選Yeah, feel free to contact me about this service 。
然後按下Submit Info送出資料。
隔天去gmail看看申請來沒，一般來說2～3天通知信就會來。
Gmail for your domain設定方式
如果你已經收到信，標題應該是『Gmail for yourdomain beta tester invitation 』，內容則是告訴你該從哪裡登入。
内容如下：

Thanks for helping us test Gmail for your domain! We're excited to help you offer Gmail accounts with your domain.
Here's how to get started:
* First, click the link below. Log in with the same Google Account you used to volunteer to become a beta tester.

* Next, we'll guide you through a series of steps to register your domain for this service.
* We'll then ask you to create a new administrative account for your domain. Most people choose something like admin@domain.
* You can then log in to the control panel ( https://www.google.com/hosted/domain ) with your administrative account. Within the control panel, you can create new users, modify or suspend accounts, create aliases and lists, and customize the look and feel of Gmail for ib.isu.edu.tw. You can even upload whole lists of new users with the bulk upload feature, and assign administrative rights to multiple accounts.
* Finally, you'll need to configure your DNS MX records to work with Gmail. Once you log in to the control panel, you'll see detailed instructions on how to complete this step. If you get stuck, you can access our help center.
